The Future is here - Now!
SKYPORT is the latest, most incredible technology from Elinchrom. The system comprises of four modules. The first, our Transmitter module which is fitted with a hot shoe adapter on the bottom, is the smallest in the market.
By adding the second module, the Universal Receiver, it becomes a four channel radio trigger that will work with any make of flash. The set is supplied with Elinchrom amphenol and 3.5mm connecting cables, plus a charger with adapters for most countries. This charges the built-in mobile phone type battery in the Receiver giving 50 hours of use.
The third is the RX Transceiver and this is where it really starts to get clever. The module is simply pushed into the RX socket on any Elinchrom RX Compact, Power Pack or Ranger Flash (requires adapter EL11110). Not only do you then have all the previous features but the power of the heads and packs can be controlled in 1/10ths of a stop, and the modelling lamp switched on or off directly from the transmitter.
Last but most definitely not least is the USB module. With this inserted into the USB socket on a Mac or PC and the free software downloaded from the Elinchrom website, up to 64 heads or packs can be controlled wirelessly from one computer with many clever sychronisation and lighting set-up storage options. Now that’s clever, but even more amazing is the price!
