Do I need an account
No, you don’t need an account to rent from us.
However, you will need to leave a deposit for the rented items, this can be cash or card.
The deposit will be for the value of the goods. If you use a card, the value will be taken out of your account and refunded on return. Please be aware that refunds can take 5 days, depending on your bank.

When are you open?
9am-5:30pm monday to friday
Early morning pickups and dropoffs may be made by prior appointment.

What time can I pick up?
At any time whilst we are open.
For the special weekend rate you can pick up any time on Friday.

Can I have my rental delivered?
If you have an account, we can deliver your goods next day to anywhere in the country and same day within london.
If you are leaving a deposit by card, we can only deliver to the registered cardholders address(your home or office), not to a rental studio, location etc.

What time do I have to return my rental?
Any time we are open.
Please remember that our day is 24 hours, this means you should return your rental at the same time of day (or earlier) as you picked up, to avoid an additional charge.

Can you collect from me?
Within London we can arrange a same day courier van or bike to pick up. Please let us know before midday if you wish to do this.
Outside London we can arrange a next day overnight courier pickup. Please let us know before midday on the day before the goods are to be collected. Also remember that you will be charged for the period whilst the goods are in transit.

How much do you charge for insurance?
We charge 15% of the rental charge, excluding VAT.
The insurance charge may be waived if you have your own insurance covering rented in equipment to the correct value.
We will need a copy of your insurance document before the commencement of the rental period. In this case you will be completely liable for the equipment. All loss or damage must be paid for within three days of the end of the hire period.

How many days will I be charged for?
This depends how many days, or part days you have the items:

We have two special weekend rates:
Friday am to Monday before 10am is charged at 1 day
Thursday pm to Monday before 10am is charged at 1.5 days

You will be charged when you drop the equipment back to us. If you have a ‘No Deposit Account’ you will need to pay for the rental when you collect.

I'd like to rent something but it's not kept at my local branch, what do I do?
You should call the local branch and ask them to request it from the holding branch.

I really need to rent an xyz, I know you sell them but I can't find it on your rental list, help.
Call us, we’re always willing to consider additional items for our rental stock.
Also, if we have a demonstrator, we may be able to rent this.

I am a poor impoverished student, can I have a discount?
We believe our prices are already very competitive and therefore we do not give student discount. However, we can open a ‘No Deposit Account’ for you. This is not a full credit account but it will mean that you don’t have to leave a deposit. You will have to pick the rental up in person and pay for in advance.
To be considered for a 'No Deposit Account' you'll need to rent normally from us a couple of times, then fill out an account application form.
