Cutting Edge Lighting Techniques Made Easy!!
Now at a great NEW Venue!!
The Richard Jobson Film & Photo School
Creating truly stunning magazine-quality photographs is all about controlling and sculpting light, and in these one-day workshops Adam reveals the very latest methods of photographic lighting and just how easy you can do it. Whether you aim to break into magazine photography, want to give your social portraits a more fashiony edge, give your weddng shots a new dimension or just want to learn some new techniques, you'll have a fun and rewarding day.
His techniques are truly amazing, sometimes simple, sometimes sophisticated, and sometimes unorthodox, but the end results are always stunning. From a variety of top-quality Elinchrom studio lighting to simple use of reflectors, you're guaranteed to pick up some tips on making your portaits that little bit different.
And as Adam is a huge user of "Strobist"-style off-camera flash using small, portable flashguns, you'll learn how simple it is to create amazing and dramatic pictures easily and relatively inexpensively.
In these workshops, Adam will demonstrate editorial-style lighting for portraits, lifestyle and fashion. Delegates will also get to put into practice what they have learned by shooting the models in a variety of set-ups using the latest Elinchrom studio flash. And as numbers are strictly limited to just eight photographers, you'll get plenty of time one-to-one with a model to get some great pics of your own.
All you need is camera and a desire to learn and take some great pictures. Lunch and drinks are included, too.
The workshops kick off at 10am with a slideshow of Adam's inspiring work, then onto a short explanation of studio lighting before some classic lighting set-ups are demonstrated, so you can photograph our model.
Then it's on to more dramatic lighting using one, two or more lights, the chance to use the fashion phootgraphers' secret weapon - ringflash - then onto Strobist-style small flashes before a 4pm finish. If you want to learn "Strobist" techniques, it's unmissable!
It's informal, fun and you'll pick up some of the latest techniques. Don't delay, book today!
