One of these sits under Alex's desk in our london branch. In his words......

"Thanks to the repair department being on the same RCD (posh fuse!), our demonstration Apple G5 was always exposed to power cuts, until we plugged it into one of these. Now we have the G5, 2 LaCie displays and 3 hard disks all safely protected, for up to 45 minutes! I didn't even have to install any software as Mac OS X recognises the UPS as a USB device, i just need to tell the OS how long to stay on before automatically shutting down. This thing is cool!"

This UPS is a battery back-up and a power filter, so you get nice smooth sine-wave power to all your devices.
